The Duckworth Team

Vince & Rhonda Duckworth
My husband and I have always worked together in some capacity. Although I am a Registered Nurse we have also owned and operated four other businesses. We owned a western clothing store, a skating rink, a licensed home daycare center, and we were independent insurance agents. Never in any of our previous business ventures have we been as excited as we are right now. Don’t get me wrong we were very grateful for the opportunities that most people only dream about, but the extremely hard work and the financial strain took much of the fun out of it. Our store and skating rink required a very large investment (each in excess of $100,000) and we did not even plan on seeing a dime of return for at least three years. Everything we made had to go right back into the business. The home daycare center was taxing to say the least. We were tied down 24/7 as we ran two shifts. We made pretty good money, but we were never able to set our own hours, and we were never really able to enjoy the money we made; taking a vacation would have been out of the question. The insurance business required some hard core selling of a product that people could live without in hard times. Now don’t get me wrong we are not afraid of hard work, but we do expect to get properly compensated for it. The first time I ever heard about Ambit's home business opportunity was when my sponsor showed me the business presentation from his website. At first I was skeptical. I could not help but think there had to be a catch somewhere. The main reason I was skeptical was because we were used to investing so much more than 400 bucks. I did not expect that amount of money to get me a profitable lemonade stand much less anything else. I was also skeptical of all the stories I was hearing about the “Greatest redistribution of wealth since the deregulation of the telecommunications industry”. Well what can I say, I was dead wrong, and I’ll admit it. Let me put it this way – The checks cash just fine and all those Ambit Consultants who fired their bosses can’t all be lying. Owning an Ambit Home Business has so many advantages. First of all, I set my own hours and my husband and I can take vacations whenever we want. I like the idea of earning a residual income month after month from my customers. I like being in total control over my business. I like that I am selling a recession proof product that everyone needs and uses. I like that I don’t need to store vast amounts of inventory. I like the feeling I get from changing people’s lives by making consultants out of them. Most of all I like the financial freedom.
